I enjoy reading your blog because, while you already know all of these things about yourself, they're interesting to me. I'm interested in people who are just people! And your blog is plenty o' clever and witty and anecdotal and intéressant pour moi.

Past that, I don't know what else to ask for because I already truly do love reading your blog so much already.

Well... I am Sam... Sam I am... now that that's established...

I really don't care what I read blogs about. It's always a better read if 1. the person knows what they're talking about and 2. they actually have an interest in what they're talking about, so really, that could be anything...
I 'stumbled' upon your blog because we shared an interest in a band, I became a street team leader for a short time for that band, stole this awesome smiley :o) from you, read your manuscript in the the focus group over the summer, and ended up here... now for a question....

This is anything but deep... what's your favorite kind of ice cream?

Hi! I am Ashley. I read various blogs for various reasons. I read some mommyblogs, even though I have no interest in having children of my own. I read foodblogs, because maybe one day I'll bake said item. I'm looking over my google reader while typing this up and if someone else was to read my google reader I may actually be embarrassed because it seems I have a complete varied interest by completely varied authors.

I stumbled across your blog because you're my friend and I enjoy seeing this side of you. And as for what I'd like to see you blog I honestly don't care. I enjoy every little snippet you post, because it's what's on your mind at the time.

I'm Liz. I like reading blogs by people who not only talk about what interests them, but who interpret it, consider its past and the ramifications of its present. Sincere analysis gets me more excited about something than gimmicks or pandering, so I'm often disappointed by political blogs; a webcomic writer or a videogamer can usually be counted on more often to say something worthwhile. Maybe we just take the most care with the things we care the most about, and creative people in particular care about things that I find important: love, ambition, culture, and the happiness of others. I like your blog the most when you're talking about the things that matter to you, because you examine them and deepen their meaning for both of us. :)

I am a terrible lurker. I believe I should be dubbed 'Queen of Lurkerdom' and be given a shiny crown - with ruby jewels - to wear on Tuesdays. I like Tuesdays. However, I do read your blog and I quite enjoy it.

I don't really know what to say for the "who are you?" question - I'm simply me, and you already know me fairly well.

I enjoy reading blogs in which the blogger is witty and interesting - while remaining intelligent. I also insist that there should be at least one amusing antecdote per blog. You seem to fit that bill; therefore, I find your blog enjoyable.

I ~stumbled upon your blog via a link from you yourself, and have visited it since.

What I'd like to know about you is this: How do you walk around in the shoes you do? I'm speaking literally - I would fall down dead and die if I tried to wear your shoes in the rain (I loved your shoes in Kent) - and figuratively; how do you maintain a good head on your shoulders whilst being so talented and genuinely kind?

[...] Ever since I discovered that I was allowed to create my own characters, it’s been my passion, but more than that, it’s the discovery of someone else’s life, motivations, and experiences that fascinates me. It’s why I studied History, Journalism, and Creative Writing in college. It’s why I enjoyed interviewing popstars for Tommy2.net and why I liked transcribing long, rambling recollections of WWII vets for PBS. Listening to the conversations around me was my favorite part of being a barista in New York City, and the one part of being a college admission counselor that really suited me was speaking one-on-one with really great, interesting prospective students.
I felt this needed a comment. SO I'm commenting.

This was such a nice interview! I'm going to have to agree a bit with Indira. I can definitely see where your writing warrants a JK Rowling nod now and then! Obviously, Rowling is a ~genius (that isn't to say you are not), but the care you put into your characters and research...that's something that she embodies to me - and you follow in that same vein.

*crosses fingers for agents to stumble over themselves in their efforts to sign Green*
